Safety instructions for small grinding tools
This information is based on our present knowledge and is intended to describe the product in respect of the safety precautions to be taken. It does not claim to be complete.

Storage Small grinding wheels require careful and appropriate storage. After unpacking, inspect the grinding tool visually for damage caused during transportation. To prevent damage, store in a dry, frostproof place protected from unacceptable heating and vibration. Vitrified-bonded small grinding wheels have an unlimited storage life. Resinoid-bonded tools should be stored for no longer than 3 years since a reduction in strength can occur.

Maximum speed and application restrictions (VE) Set the machine at not more than the maximum permitted revolutions per minute (rpm) or peripheral speed (m/s). Take note of the application restrictions the supplier may have had to specify.

Adjustment Adjust the workpiece support and the protective hood.

Running without load Run the newly clamped small grinding wheel at the full operating speed under no load. Secure the danger area while doing so.

Tapping Small grinding bodies must not be Tapped.

Disposal Used small grinding wheels must be disposed of according to legal requirements. Small grinding tools containing oil and/or coolant emulsion are to be treated as special waste.
